The range of wines Culemborg was named in honor of Jan van Riebeeck, who was born in the Dutch town of Culemborg. In June 1651 Jan van Riebeeck was appointed the first governor of the Cape, he established a station on the southern tip of Africa, providing a passing ships with fresh food and water, was the first who planted vines in South Africa in 1655. The line Culemborg includes a wide range of wines that have good quality at an affordable price and to convey the true taste of grapes from different regions of South Africa. "Culemborg" Sauvignon Blanc rich fruity wine with a refreshing bright bouquet. It is created from grapes Sauvignon Blanc grown in different areas of the Western Cape on sand, gravel and clay soils.
