Bodega Zuccardi, one of the largest wineries in Argentina, which still retains the status of a family. The company was founded by Alberto Zuccardi, who previously worked as an engineer, applying his knowledge and skills, including in winemaking. Indeed, for Argentine winemaking, the supply of vineyards with water is of great importance, and Alberto experimented with irrigation systems in the mid-1950s. In 1963, he purchased vineyards in the Maipu Valley in order to demonstrate his achievements in irrigation engineering to professional winemakers, not even realizing that the production of wine would completely absorb him, becoming his life's work.
